How fast is your browser? Chrome Fastball was a speed race across the internet.
During my time at B-Reel I had the amazing opportunity to direct the Google Chrome Fastball for BBH and Google Creative Labs. They've asked us to create a browser race to visualize the speed of Google’s Chrome browser. The initial brief was to create a time-challenge where users need to perform tasks in the most popular web services like Google Maps and Twitter.
We all thought the idea was awesome and we took it to the next level by building a huge Rube Goldberg Machine to visualize the race that lived as an interactive experience on YouTube.

Bellow is the original design of our crazy Rube Goldberg Machine. Amazingly, the final machine was very close to this sketch.
